Today I'm feeding myself intellectually. When you teach, you learn a lot, too. But in Vygotskyan terms, you don't always reach the zone of proximal development. Teaching-wise, yes, but not text reading wise.
My wonderful old lit professor at the English department told me about a conference. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear him speak on my (and I think his, too) favourite subject: Rhetorical silence. However, today my other old professor, this time in rhetorics, is speaking about The Poetic Sign.
Yes, it's nerdy. And I'm really looking forward to it!
